Music Technology

Students reinforce and further develop their comprehensive musicianship skills. They use their individual creative process and working knowledge of music and technology to enhance live performances. Students capture sound from the performances and engineer the audio into high-quality recordings.

Students learn and demonstrate music creation skills and composition techniques. They use production techniques to perform created works and audio recording techniques to capture the performances. 

Students partake in an in-depth study of music in a recording studio setting. They work with audio engineers, producers, and performers. The class is structured so that students are placed in local recording studios and receive internship credit.
