SFJROTC

The purpose of the Space Force Junior Officer Training Corp Program is to acquaint students with the aerospace age, to develop informed citizens, and to provide practice of effective leadership techniques for students pursuing both military and non-military careers.

The program also promotes an understanding of the democratic process, an understanding of the national command structure, discipline, knowledge of military drill and ceremonies, and supports an interest in the Space Force, Air Force, or civilian careers.

In accomplishing this mission, the SFJROTC program is designed to meet the following objectives:

1. Develop a more responsible U.S. citizen by teaching the civil, industrial, and military components of aerospace.
2. Encourage a high degree of personal honor, responsibility, self-reliance, and self confidence.
3. Develop a respect for constituted authority and a high degree of self-discipline.
4. Develop leadership and followership skills.
5. Promote an interest in the Space Force/Air Force.
