NVAA
At Shadow Mountain High School, 9th graders who are accepted into the Performing and Visual Arts Program will be deeply immersed in the arts in addition to the core curriculum and specialized programs offered, such as AVID (Advancement via Individual Determination).
Furthermore, students will concentrate their studies in one of the four focused areas of instruction:
- Dance
- Theater
- Visual Arts
- Music Technology
Each area of focus will offer a variety of innovative classes beginning with the level appropriate for students with a preparatory background in the arts.

What Our Parents Say:
I would recommend this program to other parents and students as it offers students an opportunity to strengthen skills in the areas that they are passionate about, because students get to practice and build relationships with others who share their interest daily, and because the program is designed to work across schools and disciplines."
Robyn Ratcliff, 7th grade parent
