NVAA at Shadow Mountain High School offers an exceptional arts education for students to immerse themselves in their craft under the guidance of award-winning arts educators.
Students choose their accelerated track in Dance, Theatre, Music Technology, or Visual Art which moves beyond typical arts classes with increased rigor and unique specializations. NVAA offers partnerships with professional guest artists, Scottsdale Arts, and the Maricopa Community College District. During 12th grade, students participate in our unique Exit Portfolio class which leads to a Capstone Project and the AZ State Seal of Arts Proficiency, while building a portfolio of artistic work. Students learn skills that provide them with the ability to be collaborative, creative, and innovative leaders prepared for college and the 21st-century workplace, and receive an honors arts endorsement on their high school diploma. Explore. Create. Shine. NVAA offers an exceptional arts education!

What Our Parents Say:
I would recommend this program to other parents and students as it offers students an opportunity to strengthen skills in the areas that they are passionate about, because students get to practice and build relationships with others who share their interest daily, and because the program is designed to work across schools and disciplines."
